APEX2105 Front Panel


The front panel of the APEX 2105 5-Port 2.5 Gbps Unmanaged Ethernet Switch provides the Power Port and the Ethernet connection ports and LED indicators that show network status and activity.

Power Input 
  1. Uses the included external power adapter 
  2. Input power is required for the switch to operate 
  3. The switch powers on automatically when connected to power 
  4. There is no power button on the device. 


Ethernet Ports

The APEX2105 includes five RJ-45 Ethernet ports, each supporting:
  1. 10 / 100 / 1000 / 2500 Mbps speeds
  2. Auto-negotiation based on the connected device
  3. Auto-MDI/MDIX (no crossover cables required)
Any Ethernet-enabled device can be connected to any port.


LED Indicators

Each Ethernet port includes LED indicators that show:
  1. Link status when a device is connected
  2. Network activity when data is being transmitted
  3. Connection speed (varies by device capability)
A blinking LED indicates active data traffic.
