D60 How to check the signal strength of the mobile broadband connection?

Signal Strength can be an important indicator for overall service quality with a cellular internet connection.
Hitron xIQ makes the cellular signal levels available in 2 places. The xIQ mobile app and the D60 router UI.

Understanding Mobile Signal Levels

First please reference this table to understand the levels shown in the xIQ mobile app and router UI.



If cellular levels outside the optimal range are discovered please attempt to visit https://www.cellmapper.net/ and use the site to locate the nearest cell tower and position the D60 in the best location within the home to achieve line of sight to the tower.

Access Cellular metrics via the Mobile App

Open the xIQ Mobile app and from the home screen use the System Overview section and scroll to the right to find the Cellular icon.



Click on the 'Check' button within the Cellular icon.



Access Cellular Metrics via the Router UI

Access the router UI and navigate using the options on the left to 'Services' ➝ '5G/4G Manager' an scroll down to find the Status and Signal sections.
