The GUI of Hitron’s CODA can only be accessed with firmware version 7.3.5.0.1b2 or later. This firmware can only be provided by your ISP because, according to DOCSIS standards, it is the Service Provider that must distribute firmware updates to the cable modems on their network. Thus, Hitron cannot offer end-users a direct download of the firmware for its cable modems. Instead, the firmware is handed over to the Service Provider who then tests and distributes the firmware to the cable modems that are connected to their network.
What you will need
- Laptop or computer directly connected via Ethernet to the cable modem. Configure the laptop/computer with a STATIC IP set to the 192.168.100.x subnet (see links below)

Steps to Access the GUI
Step 1: Turn on the CODA modem.
Step 2: Use an Ethernet Cable to connect the laptop/computer to the CODA modem directly.
Step 4: You should see a Status menu
The Status menu contains the following sections:
- System Information
- DOCSIS WAN
- LAN Port Status
Status: System Information
The System Information screen displays general information about your CODA’s hardware, software, and its connection to the Internet.
Status: DOCSIS WAN
Displays both Upstream and Downstream signal parameters, including OFDM Downstream & Upstream Overview, and OFDMA Upstream Overview.
Status: LAN Port Status
Displays LAN port status, speed and Duplex status for each LAN port.
