How to reset the HTEM4 to Factory Default Settings



 

To REBOOT (or restart) the HTEM4 MoCA Adapter:

  1. Unplug the HTEM4 Adapter from the power outlet and wait a few seconds.
  2. Plug the HTEM4 Adapter back into the power outlet.
  3. Within 3 minutes, check that the Power and MoCA LEDs on your HTEM4 Adapters are solid GREEN (to indicate that your HTEM4 is receiving power and that a MoCA connection has been established between HTEM4 Adapters.).

    NOTE:The MoCA connection may take up to 10 minutes to establish.

 

To RESTORE the HTEM4 configuration back to Factory Default Settings:

NOTE:  Factory resetting your HTEM5 Coax to Ethernet Adapter will restore the HTEM5 Adapter back to its original factory default settings and any settings that you have modified will be lost and cannot be recovered.

Factory Reset the HTEM4 Adapter:

To RESTORE the HTEM4 configuration back to Factory Default Settings, locate the RESET button on the rear panel of the HTEM4 Adapter.

  1. Insert the end of a paper clip or other small object with a narrow tip into the RESET opening on the back of your HTEM4 Adapter.
  2. Press and hold the Reset button for 10 to 15 seconds or more to reset the HTEM4 back to its factory default settings.
