Troubleshooting The APEX2005 Ethernet Port LED Is On but the Device Isn’t Working

The APEX2005 Ethernet Port LED Is On but the Device Isn’t Working

An active LED means a physical connection exists, but the device may not be communicating properly.

Try these steps:
  1. Restart the connected device.
  2. Try a different Ethernet cable.
  3. Plug the device into a different switch port.
  4. Check that the device’s Ethernet/network setting is enabled.
If the device works when connected directly to the router, the issue is usually the cable or device configuration.
