Why Did My Ethernet LED Color Change (APEX2008)?

LED color changes indicate a change in connection speed, not a problem.
  1. Green: 2.5 Gbps connection
  2. Amber: 1 Gbps or 100 Mbps connection
This usually happens when:
  1. A different device is connected
  2. A cable is replaced
  3. The device only supports Gigabit Ethernet
This behavior is normal.
